5th Grade Graduation

Reanna graduated from 5th....she will be moving on to Middle school.  I keep saying over and over, how can this be???  My beautiful baby girl is growing up to be a beautiful young lady.  I love this girl!!!!

Graduation day!
I did up a powerpoint, shed a few tears making it.

Receiving her Kindness and Caring award.  So proud of this award.  Every year her teachers talk about her kindness and caring for everyone.  I keep praying she continues this love for all!!

 She passed :)

Her and her teacher.  We are going to miss her so much!
With the principal!  We love her too!

We had a little celebration afterwards with the family.
And then she started posing......I have now words :)

Later that evening, we had a celebration with her 5th grade friends to celebrate all of them moving on to middle school (or 6th grade). are off to great places! Today is your day, you mountain is get on your way.  ---Dr. Suess

We love you to the moon and back, infinity and beyond, forever and ever. Mom & Dad

I almost forgot......

The whole school field day.....

Hunter was still recovering from surgery so I took him to at least watch.  It was hard for him not to participate.
Since the 5th graders had the other field day, they got to help this year.
They had to move inside due to rain and lightening :( But they still had a great time.  Loved being able to watch.

Hunters Surgery Round 2

The week before school was out, Hunter went in for surgery to have his tonsils out.  He had been fighting with strep through quite a bit and they finally decided to get those things out.  He did great.  He never once cried, he never was in any pain and healed so well!  So very grateful for all the thoughts and prayers for him!!

Getting ready to go back.
I don't have any after pics as I was cuddling him....

His coach from his baseball team brought him over this basket of goodies from the team, there was crackerjacks, baseball cards, Little Debbie baseball cakes and a baseball that was signed by his team.  So awesome they did this for him!!
Some of his other buddies brought him over some Popsicles and checked on him.
Then aunt duh and uncle craig spoiled him with more ice cream and popsicles, Nana and Papa and Susie brought him legos......he was feeling spoiled!!!  And I was eating way too many popsicles :)

Mothers Day

We spent Mother's Day at the ball field (I wouldn't have it any other way).
The kiddos bought me this.
 And made me this.
I didn't have any pictures with mom but we did celebrate with her.  The kids took their hand prints, cut them out and wrote things they love about her on them.

Happy Mothers Day mom.  We love you and thank you for all you do for us!!

All Schools Day

Lots of happenings during our All Schools Day week.

First up was the May Fete.  Lots of groups come out and dance, sing, tumble, etc.  Each year the 5th grade girls wind the May Pole!

The All Schools Day parade---Reanna got to walk with DARE in the parade.
And we sat back and watched.
We didn't have to build a float this year, but was very bittersweet as we should have helped in building this float for Kooper.
Our Elementary School float.  Thought it was very cute!!!
Reanna holding the banner.  Essay winners got to carry the banners.
 Next up.....5th grade madathon!

And finally we finished off the night with the carnival.  I have not been to the carnival in probably 10+ years.  The kids have never really been interested and it is always so dang expensive with rides that sometimes work.  However this year the kids (and their friends) talked me into it.  :)

Love this tradition our city puts on.  Fun for everyone!!
