For a service project at church, our 5th grade kiddos worked with Numana to fill food bags for our community, our state, our country and other countries. It was a great experience for the kids. AND myself. Sitting there filling a tiny bag of food and finding out that the small bags makes 5 meals was a real eye opener. Sometimes it is things like this that make you sit back and realize what we have and how good we have it. We can be so spoiled and self consumed, I pray for those people that we made bags for and I pray that I can be a better, more appreciative person! And that my child (and all the others) can realize what we can do to help!! Thankful for reality checks like this!!
