Construction has begun......

Our new house construction has begun.  Here are a few pictures of progress.....

Estimated completion date is September 30th.  We are counting the days :) Last week we picked out all the interior/exterior paint colors, cabinets, flooring, whatever else was included in that round, and we finalized the pool details. They had intentions of starting the framework next week but the rain has possibly delayed that a bit.  But we are well on our way.  Yay!!!

Let the season begin......

We are gearing up for Softball and baseball season.....Reanna has starting practicing with games and tournaments to start soon and Hunter will start practicing with in the next month or so.

So.....finally we were able to get into the batting cages and did a little practicing....
Fast pitch practice for her....

And some standard for him, we did try the fast pitch baseball for him but he may need a little more practice :) LOL
This weekend our 10U Lady Express team was invited to go out on the field with the college here in town.  Some pics from today.

But first, daddy and Hunter practicing after sissy was done on the field......
I love his pose here waiting for the pop fly.....

Each girl got to go out with the college player that played their same position......

Destination Imagination

Last weekend, we headed out to the Destination Imagination State Tournament.  Reanna's team was competing in their category of Service Project.  They chose to donate to the food bank.  Their goal was to raise 150 cans from the students at the school and if they reached that goal the school would get a hat day.  They raised over 160 cans!! yay!

Rehearsal
Game day......Her friend Danica competing as well.
 Getting setup

 Talking with the judges.
They struggled a little on their presentation which in turn they did not place at state.  She was a little upset about it but I assured her that the help they provided the food bank outweighed any placement at State. That seemed to help since she loves to give!!  We were so proud of all of them and what they accomplished.
On a side note they did get 100 points out of 100 on their instant challenge which is a little bit tougher because they have to solve a problem on the fly and only have so many minutes to do it in.   Its too bad they didn't give more of a percentage on their overall by their instant challenge score :) Either way.....so proud!!
