He is Risen....

He is Risen Indeed...

To start out it is my favorite time of year, celebrating Easter and of course March Madness.   However my madness turned into just plain mad when the Hawks lost and Seldon is leaving....but still love them :)
 Moving on.....

Thursday was our Maundy Thursday Communion service...And it was extra special as it was Hunter's first communion.

Next up was the annual egg hunt in the park....only Hunter again this year.

 on to egg decorating.....

 daddy in on the action

Our Easter project from church...more on that...

We all sat down and wrote out our sins on the canvas.....

Talk about a powerful moment......It was so amazing to see what Jesus has done for us....and washed away our sin!  By the end of of this and our prayer we were all in tears...joyful tears.....
We decided before the ball games came on to chill out and watch HOP.....that movie is so stinkin cute!!!

Easter was a very early morning....

 Kooper's basket
Getting ready for church, the kids were singing at both services......
Love them more than they will know.

We decided to go to WatersEdge for their Easter lunch....it was fabulous and we didn't have to clean up....unfortunately I didn't get pictures ;(

After we got home, we headed to Tuckers new house (in progress) to see his Chickens.  How appropriate for Easter :)

 Another egg hunt with Cade.

That pretty much wrapped up Easter weekend.  This is the lily we always get in Memory of Kooper!

Happy Easter!

Jesus Predicts His Death a Third Time

17 Now Jesus was going up to Jerusalem. On the way, he took the Twelve aside and said to them,
18 “We are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death
19 and will hand him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified. On the third day he will be raised to life!” Matthew 20:17-19.
