Just a few random pics that I have taken over the last couple of weeks.
Hunter at the Bullpup football game!! He is getting into the games. It is so cute & funny :)
I walked on the back porch and found this the other day. LOVE it. I hope she keeps that up for a long time! Such a good kiddo!
We went to another bullpup game to see this handsome Prince. Our friend Asher was the homecoming Prince. So CUTE!
Every year the schools in town do a walk to school day to participate in the National walk to school day. We meet a few blocks from the school and then we walk with the kids and have breakfast. This year Daddy got to go too!
A week and a half ago we celebrated our baby boy's 3rd Birthday in Heaven. I can not believe it has been 3 years ago. It feels like yesterday and the hurt feels the same as the day we lost him. As I have said many times, we are so blessed to at least get to meet him and have what little time we had with him. I thank God everyday for giving us that little miracle and for my life!
The day before his birthday we attended the annual "A Day to Remember" at Wesley. (Daddy had to work these two days, but was "with us")
On his actual birthday, I went out and decorated for Halloween
My aunt had left a pumpkin and an Elmo Birthday Balloon :)
And after the kids came home from school, we celebrated by sending him birthday notes in his balloons.
"To infinity and beyond"
Amongst all the wonderful Texts, Facebook messages and calls we received, we had a few visitors and thinking of you goodies.
This little guy (and his mom and sleeping little sister) brought me an ice tea (with extra ice of course) and a chocolate chip cookie . Thank you!!!
Then I received this from a fellow PTO mom & friend.
To all of you that thought of us, prayed for us, emailed, texted, Facebook'd, let me cry on you, visited or whatever it may have been--thank you from the bottom of our heart. Thank you for keeping him alive!!!! We love you!!!!
Then, yesterday was National Baby Loss Day. We were at church but Steve lit the candle below at 7PM and set it in our front door window for us and all of those that have lost a baby/child. May God comfort you!!
(On a side note daddy did well making these two photos on his phone!!! :) )
To Our Baby Boy--
TO THE CHILD IN MY HEART
O precious, tiny, sweet little one You will always be to me So perfect, pure, and innocent Just as you were meant to be.
We dreamed of you and of your life And all that it would be We waited and longed for you to come And join our family.
We never had the chance to play, To laugh, to rock, to wiggle. We long to hold you, touch you now And listen to you giggle.
I'll always be your mother. He'll always be your dad. You will always be our child, The child that we had.
But now you're gone...but yet you're here. We sense you everywhere. You are our sorrow and our joy. There's love in every tear.
Just know our love goes deep and strong. We'll forget you never-- The child we had, but never had, And yet will have forever. Author: C.P.
Love you to the Moon and back, infinity and beyond, forever and ever!!
A few weeks ago, our church did a family night at the new Pumpkin patch that just opened up in our area. The owners of it go to our church and their kiddos are in the same church classes as my kids. It is fun to see the connection! We were very impressed with the activities and layout of the "ranch".
The "Epic" Slide
Tricycle and Cart races
The Famous goats Annie and Clarabell
Authentic Tee Pee
And we didn't even get to everything that evening! So much to do and so much fun!!
