Being Thankful

Reanna loves to write.  She has lots of notepads and books that she just randomly sits down and writes different stories.  Sometimes real- sometimes fiction.  I love the imagination of a child.  The other day she had her big notebook full of paper and was just a writing away.  I never thought anymore about it until a few days later when her story was sitting out and I proceeded to read it.  Here is what it said:

I love my family.  I love my life.  I love my mom, dad, my two brothers, aunts, uncles, great grandma, grandma, great grandpa and grandpas.  I love everybody in the world.  Kids who don't have anything, water, food, shower, nail polish, books.  Do you love people? I love people.  We go to bed at eight o clock.  At least I have my family at my side.  Here are the things we like to do, we like to pay outside and basketball.  We like to watch movies.  We like to do everything.  I have the best family ever.  The End

It brought tears to my eyes to read this.  Can you imagine this world if more people were like our kids and just loved everything?  Maybe we would have world peace :)  I am so thankful for my kids, my family, my friends.  It is things like this that make your life so much better.  It is also a good reality check.

(And it is a good reminder back to her if she is having a bad day where things just are not going her way) :) LOL

Have a Wonderful Thanksgiving.  We have SO much to be thankful for!!

Pre-K Happenings

Just some preschool happenings!

Grandparents Day!! Papa and Nana were both able to make it.

Field Trip to the Fire Department

Sooo Innocent....wow he can pull that off.....

Working on his "homework", a little disgusted at his sister I am guessing!

 Muffins with Mom
Ms. Treva read her version of "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie", it was called "If you Give Mom a Muffin" could not be more typical in the life of a mother :) Loved it!!!!!

He had conferences back in October and she said he is doing great, he is right on track, a little above in some things and LOVING reading...thank you Lord.  The only things that were still work in progress was with him using two feet to go down the stairs and bouncing a HUGE ball....she said that was due to him being "petite" (those are her words) :)  So proud of my little man!! He is growing too fast!

Jr. Bullpups Cheerleading

It was that time again for the elementary girls to cheer at half time of the High School Football game!!

Love this pic!!!

 Our usual attitude picture

It was hard to see her and get a picture when the band was walking in front of us :)
She is right behind the front row cheerleader with dark hair!
Enjoy watching them and watching the Bullpups play football!!

2nd Birthday In Heaven

On October 6th, we celebrated Kooper's 2nd Birthday in Heaven. It was a little windy but a beautiful day!

The week before his birthday, I came home to find this one branch on his tree changing colors.  It caught my eye and had to have a picture, all I could do was cry, I knew he was with me.

 And then his mum bloomed!
On the day of his birthday, Wesley had their annual day to remember for babies we lost. A neat way to spend the day.  The ceremony is so touching and it gets me when they call his name out and then give mommy a rose.
The kids each got a rose too so we shared them with him and took them to his grave.
We had a little celebration while we were there and took him balloons and then we all released a balloon to him.

Thanks to my aunt and uncle, they bought be flowers.  They were beautiful.

And thank you to all the family and friends that sent texts, called or Facebook us.  As I have said before it really means so much to us for people to remember him!

And just another little reminder from him as we were driving the other day!

I did a name gallery for him out of the leaves from his tree.

Kooper, each day gets a little harder, I thought it might get easier but it doesn't seem to.  We miss you so much, some days it hurts more than I can even explain.  I keep thinking of all the things you would be doing (or better yet getting into). Your brother and sister miss you too, they talk about you a lot!  You are such a blessing to us, just wish we could have had you longer.  Love you buddy....to infinity and beyond, forever and ever and to the moon and back.  Mommy ran across this song the other day......says what I feel:

In my dreams, you are alive and well
Precious child, precious child
In my mind, I see you clear as a bell
Precious child, precious child
In my soul, there is a hole
That can never be filled
But in my heart, there is hope
'Cause you are with me still

In my heart, you live on
Always there never gone
Precious child, you left too soon
Tho' it may be true that we're apart
You will live forever... in my heart

In my plans, I was the first to leave
Precious child, precious child
But in this world, I was left here to grieve
Precious child, my precious child

In my soul, there is a hole
That can never be filled
But in my heart there is hope
And you are with me still

In my heart you live on
Always there, never gone
Precious child, you left too soon,
Tho' it may be true that we're apart
You will live forever... in my heart

God knows I want to hold you,
See you, touch you
And there's a heaven
And someday I will again
Please know you are not forgotten until then

In my heart you live on
Always there never gone
Precious child, you left too soon
Tho' it may be true that we're apart
You will live forever... in my heart

Fall Fling

Before I get to the main point of this post...a little side note.....Steve got a new job just a couple of months ago.  He has been trying to get this job for a LONG while now and after all his hard work and persistence, he finally was hired on.  We are very proud and excited for him!!! Now why was that important in this post?  Well....that is why we were at the fall fling.  The company he works for rented out the Gaddert Farm Pumpkin patch for all the workers and their families.  So we attended.  The kids (and us) had a great time!

Jumping on the big pillow

They are growing up way to fast!!!

These machines shot out corn cobs and pumpkins.  The kids LOVED them and wanted to keep doing it.  I finally had to drag them away!

 Sling a pumpkin!

We went through the big corn maze that they do every year,  we were lost right away.  Finally MOMMY had to ask directions and then Daddy led the way the rest of the time.
I had no clue where we were :) Hunter and I just followed Reanna and Steve
 Just a random pic!
There were stops along the way in the maze to tell you where you were at.  Each animal we came to the kids posed like that animal.
Next up a horse and buggy ride to the pumpkin patch.

 Barrel Train Ride.
Time for mommy to get some pictures of course.

The kids jumping into the haystack....
 Pumpkin bowling...
 And the tube slide...
It got real slick once you hit this plastic at the bottom, you can see Steve slowing Reanna down so she didn't thud on her bum :)
And the best part of the night was supper. They had everything you can imagine hot dogs, ice cream, floats, popcorn, and list goes on and on......my supper consisted of a Navajo taco, some of this yummy funnel cake and you can't go to Gadderts without having and ear of corn.  WOW, I was full.

Happy Fall Y'all!!!!
