Father's Day

It was a fast and fun Father's Day.  We started out with a very cute church service.  Followed by some presents and then on to the Hutchinson Airport for lunch. Oh yeah and some pool time when we got home.

Daddy opening his gifts.

He got a new tackle box and some new shirts.
Nana helped the kids make the shirt below.

 Papa opening his gifts.
And then papa Ray joined all of us (grandparents, aunt, uncle, cousins) for lunch.  He opened his gift in the car on the way so we didn't get any pictures.

The kids loved watching the planes take off and land.

The kids and I are so thankful to have Steve for a dad and husband.  We love you so much.

We are also thankful for our dads and father figures in our lives.  Thank you for all you do!  Love you!

#31

Yep....it was birthday #31 for me this year.  WOW where did my 20's go, now I am "over" 30 :)
Just a few pics to share

Ice Cream Cake...YUM

My co workers brought lots of good food to work for my birthday.

And then to top it off, we ended up spending my birthday evening in the ER with Hunter.  He took a spill on the concrete and we decided it was better safe than sorry.  Good news was he was fine.  Just a minor head injury and we were to keep an eye on him.....he was just fine by late evening ;)

He had to have a monitor on....so he did the spiderman symbol with the monitor......

They even had to put a brace on his neck until they new he was ok.  Poor little guy :(

It was an eventful day in a different sort of way, but I was surrounded by the ones I love.
And at least we got to go out for supper.  I also got some great gifts....money, necklace, massage and a day at the spa, drinks.......I would say I scored big time.....:)  Thanks to all for making my day special!! Love you!!

Hunter's VBS

This year our church switched VBS up a little and had a Preschool session and an elementary session (more to come on that one). Their theme this year was base camp.  I can't say enough how happy it makes me when my kids come home and tell me a story from the Bible. Hunter came home several days and told us what he had learned!!!

Hunter with Miss Joyce

Miss Emily
  (Love these ladies to pieces!!!!)
I am pretty sure he was deep into a story to his leaders here :)

Here was his shirt he made on the last day!!! Love it!!
The following Sunday, he got to sing in front of the congregation their VBS songs.  Melts my heart!!

I am so thankful for our church and all the people that help make these things possible.

So our friends the Allen's and the Cooper's and us all went.......
This was two days after Reanna's surgery so she was pretty mellow but was still able to enjoy it!

No more tonsils.....

or adenoids.  The week after school was out Reanna went in to have her tonsils and adenoids removed.  She did very well.  In fact, she did better right after the surgery than before. There were a couple of days in the middle of recovery where she was a little sore and cranky but that was to be expected.  She loved all the attention.....between the visits, gifts and being waited on from family and friends, she was getting a little spoiled ;)

Just a couple of pics I snapped....the first 2 are before hand.  She was nervous but she had Mopsy and cartoons....

This was taken not too long after she came out of recovery.......I felt so helpless but all she wanted to do was sleep.....
Some of the balloons she got....
Even though it wasn't the most fun thing, it did help a lot with her breathing and sinuses...So grateful for that!!
